Jimmy Patronis is the incumbent U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st Congressional District and a former Florida Chief Financial Officer. A well-known Panhandle Republican, he is seeking renomination on Aug. 18 against Douglas Chico and John Frankman. He has also been active in statewide GOP politics, including a high-profile endorsement of Byron Donalds for governor earlier in the cycle.
